About
Founders' Valley combines familiar card-game mechanics, retro videogame art, and the real competitive dynamics of the tech industry into a fun multiplayer card-game with infinite potential.
Founders' Valley was imagined in 2022 by Kay Jebelli, a board game enthusiast who also works as a consultant for the tech industry. Kay started playing collectible card games in 1994 and grew up arguing with cousins over board games on the weekends (top hat, iron, and boot were his favorite pieces in Monopoly, and he'd almost always accept a 2 for 1 resource trade in Catan). He also spent a lot of time as a kid playing old school 8-bit and 16-bit videogames.
If you like the game and would like to help the game grow, please get in touch!
Founders' Valley wouldn't have been possible without the artists who helped develop this first version of the game: @abueloretrowave for the logo and card backs, @pixel_olive for the resource icons and full-art resource cards, and especially @artcitastudio for card frames and design implementation.
